Description Sunrize Paprika - Native to South America - ground paprika peppers and part of the chilli pepper family.
The Sunrize Fact-ory A Hungarian scientist won the Nobel Prize for research on the vitamin content of paprika. Pound for pound, it has a higher content of Vitamin C than citrus fruit.
Usage Used in Hungarian, Spanish, Portugese, Turkish Cuisine, sausages, garnishes, cheese dishes, marinades, soups, stews, casseroles and vegetables.
Storage Requirements Store in a cool dry place and once opened keep in an airtight container for no more than 6 months.
On the Label Paprika is a wonderfully flavoured spice made from grinding dried peppers. Traditionally sweet paprika is used for Eastern European dishes, like Goulash, and hot paprika for Spanish dishes and cured meats, in particular Chorizo. Our paprika is from Spain but is a sweet and slightly hot variety so is suitable for all types of cuisine.
